Chalk Drawing

This beautiful chalk drawing was done by nine year old Olivia Peltier from Thibodaux, La. The drawing is 12" x 18", frame moulding is 2 1/2" wide and the outside of the frame is 21" x 27".

Framed Sculpture Porcelains

What you see on display here are photos of hand carved "sculpture porcelains" carved by an artist from Thibodaux. These are just a couple of examples of her work framed. They were framed in a black frame with a black mat. The black mat was used in the background and on the four sides to give it a "shadow box" effect. These were framed without glass. Graduation invitation with name card small photo and tassel. Mat color is purple. Frame is cherry with a gold liner added to the inside of the frame to bring out the other school color... gold.

St. James High School Graduate

This framing consists of a graduation photo, needlepoint, "yellow-gold" (NOT orange, like it appears to look in my photo) bottom mat, black top mat with a v-groove, regular type glass and a wooden moulding with gold a finish. The needlepoint was done by Leah Stewart of Thibodaux.
